I
was born and raised in Northeast Los Angeles and then moved
to San Francisco to attend college where I majored
in journalism and everlasting debt. College was
not fun and definitely nothing like ‘Felicity’.
I claim to be over the whole experience, but I
still have dreams where I’m one class or
test away from graduating and I have no idea how
I’m going
to complete it in time for the ceremony.
My most recent novel, More Than This (Touchstone, August 2008), was a Target stores Breakout Book and an American Association of Publishers national book club selection at Borders Books with Las Comadres. I'm also the author of Life Over Easy and Underneath It All, both published by Kensington Books in 2007.
